At Web Assistant we have been developing web applications using Drupal for many years now. We specialised in all versions of Drupal and have watched it evolve from a simple Content Management System into a potent Content Management Framework.

So what is Drupal?

Drupal is one of the many flavours of Frameworks we use to help build amazing websites. It is a combination of many languages and protocols that give us the building blocks to build powerful and robust web applications.

Why we use Drupal?

We use Drupal because it empowers our clients to manage and collate online content, easily and quickly. It is also a powerful Content Management Framework, giving us the tools to develop beautifully complex websites for businesses that are serious about establishing their online presence. Furthermore, Drupal is a highly modular system, enabling us to easily add more functionality to our clients’ websites as their business grows, minimising costs and development time.

But is it secure?

The reason we believe Drupal is head and shoulders above many of its alternatives, is because of the way it implements an open security model. This means that if any security risks were to be found, they would very quickly be made public, allowing fixes to be rapidly created, making Drupal one of the most secure platforms available. Moreover, the clean and elegant coding of Drupal compliments the strict coding practises and very high standards we adhere to at Web Assistant.
